Poorly people...

Finally! I've been confused for weeks now as our daffodils and crocuses didn't appear as usual and the garden has been full of leaves - but suddenly the flowers have arrived! And we have a huge carpet of blue :-)
Finn did his first ever drawing yesterday. Unfortunately it was on our coffee table, but still very cute! A budding picasso perhaps...
Rolling down the hill on mother's day - a happy little girl!

And a happy boy! He's totally besotted with the guinea-pigs and just gazes in at them lovingly! Oh and posts several thousand twigs through the bars, lol.
And a pond update! Our little tadpoles are merrily swimming around with the only adult frog to stick around and they're munching on all the random creatures which fall in - mostly woodlice, which don't look too tasty but seem to be fairly stupid, judging by the number floating every morning :-(
So we're all ill, Chloe is having another day off school but isn't feeling creative or imaginative and I feel just awful! So we're just relaxing together, which is quite nice in a non-productive sort of way. It's so delightful watching her with Finn, she's so enchanted by him and plays with him beautifully. She has a wonderful bond with him and often says things like 'I wish I could know what he'll look like when he's bigger' and 'what do you think his voice will be like?' which are the same things I think and it's so lovely to realise she thinks like this and adores him so much. So I'm feeling ill but very lucky!

Love the first ever artwork - We still have Cains, but that is because it was on a newly decorated bedroom wall so guess it will be there for some time to come ;-)

I know, it's so cute - Phil had to wipe it off though, I didn't have the heart! Maybe when he's big enough for a bedroom we'll have a picture on the wall too :-) xx
