Joys and Concerns

This week has been particularly concerning so I haven't had time to do this until now!

Joys:

Chloe has finished school!
We're going to plan some flexi-schooling days for next terms
I'm feeling really excited about my doula training again after a while of feeling uncertain
I've made time to write twice this week!! (This is twice more than most weeks)
Phil is doing the first of a string of gigs tonight
We're going to visit my sister and her boyfriend in their new house tomorrow
I had a lovely week with Finn
I've mastered the mooncup!

Concerns:

I am still exhausted and need to catch up on some sleep
Chloe is really unhappy with her class for next year and very sad to be leaving her wonderful teacher
I didn't cope with the PMT as well as I'd hoped to, although only had one very bad day
Finn is developing an irritating habit of throwing things in the bin or breaking them, because he likes the frustrated reaction he gets...
We both want a lie-in in the morning and I'm not being as lovely as I should be about it.

Screaming baby, no time for quotes, love to all xx

Joys: The kindness and love from the GP ladies has overwhelmed me to tears. Thank you so much for your beautiful gifts darling - you're so thoughtful xxx

Concerns: I am rubbish without sleep. Period! I hope I can adjust to our new routine quickly.

Have been wondering how you were getting on as you had not posted Joys and concerns...Carys has finished school too and starts a new one in september. Enjoy the break from school with Chloe. Our 2 girls are quite similar Im sure.

Joys
Its the summer holidays and we can go with the flow without school.
The house is looking ok!
Im managing to sleep in Carys bed while she is in mine - its a start!
Have planned to meet up with some friends - sometimes I am just too tired and house is too messy
Concerns
Carys is just full on all day, her endless talking to herself whilst jumping around is driving me mad - is there something wrong with her?
Im worried we may not get away on holiday
Worried my blood test results will show something is wrong

Claire, it was an absolute pleasure, I'm glad you like them :)And I hope you manage to catch up on some sleep :) xxx

Daisy, thank you for sharing! I'm sure children go through stages of having masses of energy sometimes - maybe when they're growing/not growing?! Anyway, I agree it can be maddening! Hope your results are ok and you get your holiday :) xx
