Not a common occurrence in this house! But apparently chalks can compete with Fireman Sam in offering something to do for a few minutes while I make lunch...and that solution makes me feel like a much better parent than a Fireman Sam dvd!!
There's been an imagination drought this week; it seems everyone only wants to slump and recover from bugs and cold. I hope a bus trip (park and ride, the highlight of our day, we know how to live) will brighten us all up. I've picked up my knitting again after about two months of really not being bothered but I need to finish my first proper pattern before my littlest girl grows out of it! So I'm trying to motivate myself along with them. Now, where's that chalk?!
