The smug factor

I only started making bread for the smug factor, but actually it works out really well in our day, takes only a few minutes and means I can feel slightly better about the diet of my biggest girl, who will only eat white bread - but at least it's better for her than the horrid stuff she used to prefer. So I feel great about not having bought bread for over a month, although it means the rest of us have all eaten more wheat than we would have done! And just to balance it out, there's a rubbish tray of flapjacks in the background, which I just cooked far too high and ruined. But hooray for a good bread recipe at last! And the curtains! I had to cut the smaller pair down and you can't really see them in this picture, but look how straight the poles are... well done Phil, a much-coveted DIY point awarded here, I think! So pleased with them! And now I've blogged two days running, what a smug post this is. Vomit.
